Empires and Puzzles – Personal notes
Here are just some notes I want to keep for Empires and Puzzles in case it helps anyone else too!
Generally how I play
While I used to more active in manually playing (e.g. challenge events and getting high scores), these days I mostly just autoplay and contribute to alliance.
Here’s all I do:
- Maximize/hoard/farm rare materials (ascension, limit break, etc) via rare quests
- Keep all my buildings running nonstop (training camps, alchemy lab, hero academy)
- Get flasks from challenge events
- Use flasks to farm recruits to keep buildings running (see below about farming)
- Titans and War
Farming
In general, I mostly autoplay rare quests, challenge quests, and season quests if they exist. If not, I will farm season 1.
If there’s is a season 2-5 (etc) event, I will generally prioritize farming these levels and even use flasks to load up on recruits and load up my training camps.
- Season 1: 8-7
- Season 2: 1-2 (speed, recruits) or 9-10 (xp)
- Season 3: 8-2N (recruits)
- Season 4: 10-7N (recruits)
- Season 5: 8-6N (recruits)
- Sunken riches: ???
Heroes
Must keep 3* (and why)
Why would you want to keep any 3* at all? Challenge events and tournaments. You should probably have a 10 to 15 of these kinds of heroes since challenge events can make you choose different colors due to element blocking on certain levels.
Overall, you should prioritize overhealers, minion makers, and then at least 5 DPS attackers per color (at least 2 colors).
The list of heroes below are my opinions. You can also check out during challenge events the top leaderboards to see their teams on which heroes are the best to keep.
Also, 3* can quickly take up a lot of hero storage space, so I’m trying to compile a list for myself on who to keep and who to throw so I can document and remember which heroes I can just eat.
Ice (Blue)
- Helo, because overhealing
- Nordri, because elemental defense down
- Gunnar, especially costume, because of offensive defense down.
Fire (Red)
- Hawkmoon, because she is one of the best OG healers.
Holy (Yellow)
- Jolly, because overhealing and minions are OP.
- Kvasir, because bees.
Purple (Dark)
- Treevil, because op debuffs and damage.
